While I would love to slap a nametag on everyone I come in contact with, somehow I don’t think it would endear me to anyone. Gretchen Rubin, of the Happiness Project (blog and forthcoming book), has some wonderful strategies to handle “young-heimers” with grace and humor. Check out her latest blog entry:
The Happiness Project: Six Tips for Coping with the Fact that You’ve Forgotten Someone’s Name.
PS – I think she would be a wonderful speaker at a library author event. If you live on Mount Desert Island, drop her a note expressing how much you would like to see her. Perhaps we could get her to make the trek up here next spring or summer!
